Sinaloa has positioned as the main agricultural producer in Mexico. There is a harvest area of more than 200,000 hectares at its disposal, and an output value of more than USD 200 million. Culiacan leads the production of corn, tomato, cucumber, green chili pepper, and eggplant in Mexico. Culiacan is the seat of the main beef producer of the country, a company responsible for the 70% of exportations. It is also the main prawn, sea bass and crab producer in the country, which gives an account of the richness of the sea of Sinaloa.
